Elevators and Stairs

VIP Parking Shuttle Elevator

VIP Wilshire Garage to main lobby. An Access Card is required to exit the building into
the garage at all times, but is not required to enter the building from the garage.

Freight Elevator

Located adjacent to the rear lobby door; an Access Card is required at all times.

ELEVATOR MALFUNCTION

If you are in the elevator and it stops for no apparent reason, remember to remain calm. Pressing the emergency button within the cab will alert Building Management that the elevator is malfunctioning, the cab number will be identified, as will the specific floor on which it is stuck. The guard will establish two-way communication with elevators occupants until help has arrived.

In the event of a power outage, one elevator in each bank (low-rise, high-rise, parking and VIP) will continue to operate using our emergency power generator. Should an outage occur, elevator lights will remain on, but the car itself will temporarily cease moving.
Each elevator will automatically return to the main lobby level, their doors will open, and they will remain inoperable until the power has been restored.

IN THE EVENT OF A FIRE, ELEVATORS MUST NOT BE USED FOR EVACUATION. USE THE STAIRWELLS.

STAIRWELLS

The office tower is served by two stairwells, which are to be used only in the event of an emergency. The stairs may not be used to access the Tenant floors or to exit the building. Loitering, smoking, exercising or any other form of activity in the stairwells is strictly prohibited. To ensure individual safety in the event of an emergency evacuation, the stairwell doors on all Tenant floors may be opened from the corridor, and are locked from the stairwell side, preventing access to Tenant areas. Anyone entering the stairwell may exit only through the alarmed emergency exit door on the lobby level, or onto the sidewalk on Wilshire Boulevard or Lindbrook Drive.
